Paula Ham

Attorney Paula Ham joined the law firm in the capacity "Of Counsel", Ms. Ham is a highly regarded and regularly sought after criminal defense lawyer. She and Mr. Bell have been trying complicated and complex criminal cases together as a team or otherwise in a professional association since Ms. Ham resigned from the prosecutor's office in the 6th Judicial District Attorneys General Office in 2005 to meet her career path of criminal defense lawyer. It was during her tenure as a prosecutor, Ms. Ham became one of that office most experienced and respected trial lawyers.

"Ms. Ham developed and sharpened her extraordinary jury communication skills and techniques that places her light years beyond her peers as a prosecutor, and we are very honored and flattered that she would choose to become associated with The Law Offices of James A.H. Bell, P.C.," according to a press release. "Paula is smart, very smart. She graduated with high honors from the University of Tennessee and distinguished herself at the University of Tennessee College of Law, being one of the first interns to work for the prosecutors office. Paula Ham hit the ground running, and has not slowed down one iota since", said Bell. Ms. Ham is admitted to the bars of Tennessee, the federal bars, including the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals. Her application before the Supreme Court of the United States is pending. Ms. Ham's primary office is located in Loudon County Tennessee but shares offices with the Law Offices of James A.H. Bell, P.C. in Knoxville and beyond. Ms. Ham concentrates on criminal defense cases only.  She voluntarily limits her cases to criminal cases in Middle and East Tennessee, as well as Kentucky and Ohio in all state and federal courts.
